About the program

DB2 on Campus is a free and exciting program run by a community of DB2 enthusiasts worldwide. Through this program you can learn about software that can improve your career prospectives such as IBM® DB2 for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®, IBM InfoSphere® Data Architect, and IBM Data Studio.

Events such as information sessions, on-site lectures, and online courses are organized by DB2 Ambassadors at universities or companies. One of the main benefits of participating in these events is that it allows participants to network with future employers, IBMers, students, professors, and potential research partners from all over the world.


Program goals

The goals of the DB2 on Campus program are:

  • Increase the pool of DB2 skilled students graduating from educational institutions to keep pace with the demand in the job market
  • Foster collaboration between students, faculty and professionals using DB2
  • Increase the number of research projects, papers, articles, books, scripts, and other collateral about DB2
